Lightspeed Sweepstakes Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. NO RESEARCH PARTICIPATION REQUIRED.

These Official Rules (the "Rules") apply to the sweepstakes conducted by Lightspeed Research, 180 Mount Airy Rd., Suite 100, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920 ("Sponsor") which will be promoted on its websites (http://us.lightspeedpanel.com and http://us.lightspeedpanel.com/es) (the "Websites"). By entering, you agree to be bound by these Rules.

1. Eligibility

Sweepstakes open only to legal residents of the United States and Canada (other than residents of Province of Quebec), who are at least 18 years old. The sweepstakes is not open to employees of Sponsor, its parents, subsidiaries and affiliates and suppliers dealing with this sweepstakes or the operations of Sponsor's websites, and those domiciled with such employees and members of their immediate family. Void in Puerto Rico, Quebec, anywhere outside of the U.S. and Canada and where otherwise prohibited.

2. Promotion Period

Sweepstakes begins July 1, 2010 at 12:00 a.m. EST, and all on-line entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. EST, on September 30, 2010 (the "Promotion Period").

3. How to Enter and Win

(a) During the Promotion Period, any legal U.S. or Canadian resident (other than residents of the Province of Quebec) who is currently a member of the Lightspeed Consumer Panel (the "Panel") or who joins the Panel, shall receive entries as follows:

(i) Every new Panel member will automatically receive one (1) entry when he/she joins the Panel.
(ii) Every time a Panel member completes a mini-poll, Quick Match, or survey, he/she will automatically receive one (1) entry.

(b) To gain additional entries if you are a member, hand print your name, address, and email address on a 3-1/2" x 5" postcard and send to: Lightspeed Research, Lightspeed Panel Sweepstakes, 180 Mount Airy Rd., Suite 100, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920. You must handprint the most current minipoll question (found on the Homepage of the Site) on your postcard. No mechanically reproduced, facsimile or computer generated mail-in entries allowed. Do not place your postcard in an envelope. Mail-in entries must be postmarked on the last day of the Promotion Period and received within seven (7) days from the last day of the Promotion Period. With each submitted postcard, a participant gains one (1) entry in the sweepstakes.

(c) A participant may gain a maximum number of 100 entries during the Promotion Period, whether by membership, participation, write-in, or a combination of all three.

(d) A random drawing for the Promotion Period will be conducted to award the prize. Sponsor will randomly select one (1) winner from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The drawing will be conducted on or about October 10, 2010. Sponsor will make reasonable efforts to notify the winner within approximately seven (7) days of selection. If the selected entrant is a Canadian resident, he/she must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question by phone or mail in order to win. All judges' decisions shall be final and binding in all respects related to the sweepstakes.

(e) Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, mechanically reproduced, misdelivered, incomplete, postage-due, illegible or unintelligible entries, messages or mail;

(f) Neither Sponsor, its clients, nor their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising or promotion agencies shall be responsible for any problems or technical, hardware, or software malfunctions of any telephone network or telephone lines, failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this sweepstakes, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by Sponsor due to technical problems, human error or traffic congestion, unavailable network connections on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participating in this sweepstakes or downloading any materials in this sweepstakes. Use of automated devices are not valid for entry.

4. Winner and Prize

One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded consisting of five-thousand dollars ($5,000). The prize will be awarded in the form of a check.

The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received, which is anticipated to be no greater than 1 in 4,000,000.

Winner will be notified by email, mail, or telephone. All taxes on winnings are winner's responsibility, and the winner must supply Sponsor with Social Security number to collect prize. Failure to respond to prize notification or to execute and return any requested document within seven (7) days of attempted delivery of same, or the return of any prize or prize notification within seven (7) days as undeliverable, will result in the awarding of prize to alternate winner. Winner may be required to provide Sponsor with proof that the winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry, or a family member of the authorized account holder of the winning entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

5. Miscellaneous

Subject to all applicable laws in the United States and Canada. Void in Puerto Rico, Quebec, anywhere outside of the U.S. and Canada and where otherwise prohibited. Winner will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility/compliance with Rules and a liability/publicity release within seven (7) days of notification attempt or an alternate winner may be selected. Sponsor may select an alternate winner if winner fails to meet all eligibility requirements set forth herein. Winner is required to provide Sponsor with a recent photograph and is required to participate in a short interview by telephone which will be conducted by Sponsor.

By accepting prize, winner grants to Sponsor the right to use his/her name, likeness, hometown, biographical information, photograph, interview (in whole or in part, whether or not accompanied by other material) and the fact that winner has won a prize, for any lawful purpose, without further permission or compensation, except where prohibited by law. By participating in this sweepstakes, all entrants agree to release Sponsor, its clients, and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising and promotion agencies from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, costs or expenses, including without limitation property damages, personal injury and/or death, arising out of participating in this sweepstakes, or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, or while preparing for, participating in and/or traveling to or from any prize related activity and claims based on rights of publicity, rights of privacy, defamation or prize delivery. All entries become the property of Sponsor, and will not be returned. By entering the sweepstakes, participants agree to be bound by these Rules and the decisions of the judges. Information collected will be used subject to Sponsor's Privacy Policy.

Sponsor may terminate the sweepstakes or any portion thereof or decide to modify it in any manner, which it deems fair and equitable to participants if it becomes aware of any occurrence, which would materially affect the security, fairness or proper play of the sweepstakes. Sponsor may prohibit individuals from participating in the sweepstakes and disqualify entries if they (1) attempt to enter the sweepstakes through any means other than as described in these Rules, (2) attempt to disrupt the sweepstakes or circumvent the terms and conditions of these Rules in any way or (3) repeatedly show a disregard for the sweepstakes Rules or act (a) in an un-sportsmanlike manner, or (b) with an intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other entrant or Sponsor. Sponsor's decisions with respect to the sweepstakes are final.
